In recent years I have been involved in recruitment related initiatives. With the aim of improving the level of recruitment. Recruitment can and must be improved. It remains beautiful and meaningful to continue to innovate in your recruitment operation and strategy. The use of innovations that are already on the market and experimenting with Recruitment Automation, the use of AI, et cetera. Having a vacancy is an opportunity for change and should be a positive experience for the vacancy holder and the organization. As a recruiter you can absolutely contribute to this.


I myself always try to innovate in assignments, in addition to those matters I am regularly involved in Recruitment related initiatives.


Recruitment Accelerator

The Recruitment Accelerator team (Ronald van Driel, Geert-Jan Waasdorp & Peer Goudsmit) is happy to share their knowledge of and experience with recruitment and labor market communication. The idea of Recruitment Accelerator was born from our passion for recruitment, data and innovation. Recruitment Manifest

There are various initiatives to promote quality of service in the oh so beautiful recruitment profession. I am in favor of any initiative to improve the profession. To indicate my own values and principles as a recruitment professional, I have written a short and concise "recruitment manifesto". Everyone is free to use and/or endorse this manifesto themselves. #recruitment is a profession

Often certain things in the #recruitment field keep me busy. Sometimes it's a question, other times it's an experience I want to share. Now I can of course keep that to myself, but I think it would be much more fun to share, so that there will be an answer or a nice explanation. Recruiters Guild

The Recruiters Gilde is a "private" association of independent recruitment, labor market and communication professionals. Our shared mission: “Recruitment is a profession”. We share knowledge, spar about recruitment and support each other to provide optimal service to our clients. The ultimate form of collaboration!! The guild is no longer active, although fortunately we are still in contact. PeerRecruitment

PeerRecruitment was a job board with recruitment related vacancies and a community with articles, videos, presentations and a calendar of recruitment events. Due to lack of time and many great new technical developments and platforms, I decided in 2012 to close PeerRecruitment as a separate site. PeerRecruitment (under another name) is still active on LinkedIn. You can still share articles and vacancies here with other recruiters and, of course, also gain knowledge yourself. Have fun!


Recruiting Academy

Co-initiator of the Recruitment Academy. With our slogan "RECRUITMENT IS A PROFESSION!". Recruitment is a field of its own with unmistakable influences from sales, marketing, communication, HR, ICT, management and financial and legal aspects. In short, recruitment is more than collecting resumes and bringing in the right people. It contributes to the profitability and continuity of an organization. Now an integral part of the Academy for labor market communication.


Recruitment Toolbar

If you are active in a certain field, you will probably recognize that you all collect links to relevant content. That's how I do it. Years ago I thought that others might also benefit from this, so I started looking for a ready-to-use toolbar that you can download. I found it and that's how the "Recruitment toolbar" was created. Full of links to relevant recruitment blogs, job boards and social media, when I adjusted the recruitment toolbar everyone automatically got an update. Now this would no longer be possible due to privacy and AVG 😉. The toolbar is therefore no longer available.


St. The Succession

As a 'founding father' I was co-initiator and founder of the Succession Foundation. During my years as an independent entrepreneur, I increasingly came into contact with the phenomenon of business succession. I soon noticed that I could make a difference. After all, in business succession, even more than in recruitment & selection, the human aspect is of decisive importance to be successful. The life work of a director-owner, or even of an entire family, is central. The intended successor must be able to identify with the passion with which the company was founded. The emphasis and activities of Stichting de Succession lay in raising awareness, initiating, activating, developing and realizing the first part of a succession process. This was done, among other things, by means of The Follow-up Scan©, providing information, advice, workshops and personal guidance.
